A Fairware Project: Impact Money Boxes for Vancity

VanCity Money Boxes

It is important to start a dialogue with kids about money and engrain financial responsibility at an early age. So what if we could create a way to teach kids about money in a fun and exciting way?

Vancity, one of Canada’s largest credit unions, has always lead the way in bringing financial and social responsibility together for their members.

Fairware worked with them to create Impact Money Boxes to help teach financial literacy to children. The three box collection includes Fun Funds, Caring Cash and Smart Savings to encourage kids to spend, share and save responsibly.

Whether you are teaching kids to collect to spend on something really cool, to donate to an organization or to save for something big in the future, these boxes will help children to practice saving money on a daily basis and in the long run!

Made in Vancouver with a local supplier, these boxes meet up with Fairware’s Code of Conduct and are made with 100% PCW (post consumer waste).

It’s no wonder we have a client crush on Vancity. Not only are they committed to sustainability, responsibility and accountability; they are making strides to invest in our community, even with the next generation. What’s next?
