Fairware Crush: Hootsuite


For years, we’ve had the biggest crush on Hootsuite, a Vancouver-based company that has revolutionized social relationships with their platform management tool. Today, they are the most widely used social platform with more than 10 million users around the world.

CEO Ryan Holmes saw the opportunity to create a better social media experience for businesses. From a single web-based dashboard, Hootsuite allows us to collaboratively execute campaigns across social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+ Pages.

We have used their dashboard since 2011, and our social media game is stronger and more efficient because of it. Our favourite tool to use is the auto-schedule function, but the team management and streams are close runner ups. Having everything in one place makes being social so much easier.

We’re always happy when we get the opportunity to work with our vendors and suppliers to help them source great merchandise. We started working with the team at Hootsuite on merchandise projects in 2013. In 2014, we built them an online ordering platform for their internal marketing and events merchandise orders.

And just this year, we’re excited to announce that we’re managing the merchandise creation and fulfillment of their brand spanking new Hootsuite shop. It is the place to go for all things owly – such as Moleskines, mugs, umbrellas and more!
