REPAIR: WE’LL FIX IT
Life (and holes) happen. Repairing bags is one step above recycling, because it is more environmentally friendly to fix what has already been made. Their San Francisco team is proud to repair over 6,000 bags a year. They also fully support their customers who want to do DIY repairs, and they have a library of spare parts is available to you here, and you can find DIY guides on iFixit here.
RECYCLE: BREAK UP WITH YOUR BAG
In 2006, Timbuk2 launched an initiative called Break Up With Your Bag where they encourage loyal Timbuk2 customers to donate their used bag to someone in need, instead of tossing it away. Over the years the program has grown to include donation partners in cities across the USA and Canada. Through these donations, more than 15,000 bags have been donated.
