Showing up at any event ‘on brand’ is critical for first impressions with prospects and reinforcing your brand and culture with existing clients. Our client Hootsuite – a Vancouver-based company revolutionizing social relationships with their platform management system – knows how to do that with style. And when Hootsuite shows up at SXSW, they do it well.
Last year, Hootsuite reached out to us for help in representing their brand at The South by Southwest® (SXSW®), a conference and festival of discovery bringing together original music, independent films, and emerging technologies.
We worked with their team of designers to create a suite of Hootsuite branded SXSW merchandise to connect with their clients, prospects and fans. Their designers drew up mood boards to pull together main themes and priorities for the event. For brand consistency, they went with an ‘all black’ theme across all their merchandise, giveaways and staff apparel. They also stratified gifts, from lower value giveaways to higher value gifts, depending on the interaction. This is a great example of event promotion done right.
