Jersey Weight Eco Hoodies with Discharge Print & Custom Woven Pinch Label
PURPOSE
Aveda was looking for apparel that was on brand and on trend with a retail feel for their employees to wear.
We chose this lightweight hoody for the project. They’re made from a blend of conventional and sustainable textiles – recycled polyester and organic cotton – and they have a great style and contemporary fit.
Drawing on the vintage style steel zipper, we used a water based discharge print to keep the look consistent across all elements of the garment. Using water based inks are better for our planet, and also has the nicest feel. We added a small woven label to the pocket to give the hoody a subtle retail brand hit. This small detail adds a lot to the perceived value of the hoody.
