What do you see being the biggest challenges we face in the world?
I believe some of the biggest changes that the world needs are really rooted in the idea of equity, particularly racial equity. For me, having a race equity lens in our work really drives all of the important changes in our society around people having equal access to opportunity to live and support themselves and their family. That’s the kind of future I get excited about.
What does being a changemaker mean to you?
For me it’s about folks who are committed to being a part of creating the change they want to see in the world, folks who have a vision for a new future, and understand that they have to be the folks driving the action to realize that new future. I think that’s what I consider a changemaker.
