Changemaker Series with Sarah White

Welcome to episode five of the Fairware Changemaker Series, where we highlight entrepreneurs and thought leaders that constantly inspire us through their passion for using business to better the world. This week we’re featuring our very own Sarah White, whom is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Fairware.

In this episode, we sit down with Sarah to learn more her role and how to lead with a strategy first approach when it comes to promotional merchandise.

Sarah’s lifelong passion for community, empowerment and collaboration to reach shared goals has been a catalyst for Fairware since it’s start in 2005. Her day-to-day tasks involve systems, human resources, project management and making sure Fairware’s culture of humour and high fives is alive and thriving. Wearing multiple hats is no easy task, but her strategy and systems first approach has been vital for where they are today – a bustling office in Mount Pleasant.

Changemaker SeriesSarah’s approach begins with a conversation about brand, values and goals. From these discussions and creative insights, she’ll find a way to use promotional merchandise to animate client campaigns. Sarah’s life has always been filled with creativity and engagement, which you can see shine through Fairware’s product stories.

Sarah’s favorite project is the up-cycled ski uniform tote and messenger program we did with Aspen Snowmass.  We deconstructed Aspen Snowmass jackets and created bags with the materials in a way that even allowed the reuse of existing logos. Custom product development like this showcases corporate values, makes an impact on staff, and creates an emotional connection to the product.

Sarah’s passion for systems and customer experience creates a seamless process  for our clients through interactive tools. Fairware’s cloud based platforms allow clients to collaborate in real time with proposals as they narrow down their selections. This is part of the Fairware Flow, which makes the whole experience and delivery of product consistent and easy.

Look at the world from the lens of disruption and collaboration. From this perspective comes a constant need and drive to see change happen. – Sarah White

Sarah is constantly motivated by the belief that purchasing can help drive social and environmental change. This passion runs through Fairware’s dynamic, creative and inspiring team of Changemakers. If you can think it up, Fairware can manufacture it with a brand story that will leave an impact.
